Over the past three years we were willing shiners waiting, or at least we were trying to be so. We were trying to lie really straight and flat and still and be like reeds for the wind to fill with music. But then the wind wouldn't blow for days or we would get restless and walk around at precisely the moment it started blowing again. Sometimes it was really fun. Sometimes it was like collaborating on a 1000 piece puzzle of the sky via email. All of the time it felt kind of worthwhile.
